Coherent is a global SaaS enterprise revolutionizing how business and IT teams collaborate on software development. Their unique approach empowers both developers and non-developers to work seamlessly by converting complex spreadsheets into user-friendly APIs. Coherent approached me with a vision to transform their existing website into a highly efficient and engaging marketing platform that tells their story effectively.
Problem Statement
The primary challenge was designing and developing a website that catered to a diverse audience while showcasing Coherent's innovative approach. The website needed to strike a balance between technical depth and user-friendly content, ensuring an intuitive browsing experience. Additionally, it had to differentiate Coherent from competitors in a crowded market with a well-structured and engaging narrative.
My Role & Responsibilities
As the UI/UX Designer, I was responsible for:
Conducting user research and competitor analysis
Creating the sitemap, wireframes, and user flows
Developing moodboards and design concepts
Designing a visually appealing UI
Ensuring seamless UX for both technical and non-technical users
Collaborating with developers and stakeholders to implement the design
Research & Discovery
To create a user-centered design, I conducted extensive research, including:
User Interviews & Personas:
Identified key pain points and expectations of different users (developers, business professionals, and executives).
Competitor Analysis:
Analyzed industry-leading websites to identify strengths and gaps in market positioning.
Content Strategy Planning:
Organized information architecture to ensure clarity in storytelling.
