When the buzzy, celebrity-invested CPG startup Brandless launched, they wanted a plethora of content to showcase their products and company values. As lead editor, I was responsible for editing, writing, copywriting, and project management tasks, including:
Brainstorming with the agency (Gyrate) to develop four content types and over 50 pieces of ready-to-publish content on a tight deadline.
Finding and training the ideal freelance writers to test and create recipes, life hacks, explainers, and essays using or related to the client's offerings.
Managing the editorial list and gathering, logging, and inspecting all assets including photos and video.
Coordinating the procurement of products from Brandless HQ in Minnesota to use in photos, videos, and recipes in New York City.
Performing rounds of hands-on edits on every piece of content until it was gleaming and ready to impress the client.
