Artisan bakery a passion project that emerged from my quest for good bread and cozy brunch places. Creating a brand identity that not only aligns with the brand’s core values and personality but also draws in the ideal target audience.

Artisan Bakery, a cozy and laid-back bakery with a focus on freshly baked bread made with sourdough for the benefit of gut health. In addition to bread, their delightful brunch menu features delicious sandwiches, doughnuts, bagels and other delicacies made with locally sourced ingredients. With clean and green interiors providing a relaxing atmosphere for you to savor their treats creating a perfect union of bread and brunch.

The first concept that I came up with for logomark was inspired by those beautiful cuts made on sourdough bread. After a lot of fine tuning the mark, came the hardest part of the whole design process the font finding. Finding a font that is pairs well with your logo mark is a huge blessing. And Aesthetic romance by sign studio was exact font for this project. As the browns and neutral colours are more prominent in this industry, I wanted to avoid using such. Instead I went for the first dish that most people associate with a healthy bread, as in avocado toast and sandwiches. The colour palette comprises of shades and tints that you find in these dishes.

You might be wondering what’s the use of all that association? Human subconscious is a powerful tool in branding. Even though people might not recognise it, but the subconscious keeps connecting the dots and making them remember your brand.
