Overview

Ringle Dingle is an AI-powered platform that lets users create and send customized e-greeting cards as well as physical paper cards. However, the platform faced challenges during peak seasons like the holidays, when users wanted a seamless experience to create, share, and purchase cards quickly. I was tasked with redesigning the holiday-themed website, spotlighting the physical card feature while enhancing the overall AI-driven card creation experience.

Discovery Research

Challenge 1: Creating cards with AI prompts was confusing for users

As AI prompts are relatively new to many users, the lack of guidance hindered their ability to effectively utilize the tool, resulting in frustration and a poor user experience.

Challenge 2: Difficulty locating physical cards

Users encountered difficulties in finding physical cards on the site, resulting in confusion and frustration. The website's navigation and layout failed to effectively highlight these products, causing users to overlook available options.

Solution: Improving the card creation experience by helping users navigate AI prompts

Task flows illustrate card creation and sharing: Identifying the most efficient and streamlined path for creating and sending cards.

Homepage feature: I prominently featured physical cards on the homepage to enhance visibility and attract user attention right from the start.
Final step integration: I included an option to purchase physical cards at the final step of the card creation process, ensuring users were aware of this option just before completing their orders.
