Linkup, a social platform based in Manchester (UK), was founded in 2021 by Jack Peagam and Ben Whatson with one clear mission — to make meeting people in real life simple, fun, and spontaneous. Backed by $804K in funding and valued at £3.12M, Linkup is growing fast in the social planning space, competing with platforms like Meetup, Belong, and KiKi.
When the founders approached us, their goal was to create a website that captures their energy and purpose — a digital home that feels as dynamic and real as the experiences their app enables.
Challenge
The challenge was to communicate Linkup’s idea — “connecting people offline through shared moments” — in a simple and instantly understandable way. The website needed to balance storytelling, product education, and visual engagement, while staying fast and scalable for future updates.
What We Did
Designed and developed a Framer website that mirrors the app’s real-world energy
Built smooth animations and transitions for a lively, social feel
Structured content to clearly explain Linkup’s mission and app features
Focused on conversion and simplicity, driving early signups and awareness
Collaborated directly with founders for quick feedback and precision execution
Impact
The launch gave Linkup a confident digital presence that matches their growing momentum as a funded start-ups. The site captures the brand’s vibrant, people-first personality — helping them attract new users, investors, and press attention.
It’s a project that showcases how strong design and clear storytelling can turn a startup vision into a tangible, engaging product experience.
