Theo & Luca is a brother-owned brand specializing in premium reclaimed wood furniture.
For this project, I designed and developed a minimal yet evocative Landing Page website in Framer, that showcases their craftsmanship, tells their story, and drives sales.
Role: Website Designer & Framer Developer
Tools: Framer, Lummi, Notion
Deliverables:
Fully responsive, mobile-first landing page featuring... Story, best sellers, gallery, and testimonials.
Custom visual identity reflecting natural wood textures and artisanal craftsmanship
Intuitive product showcase with hover animations.
Subtle motion elements (hover states, scroll reveals etc.) to enhance brand experience
Framer Build Responsiveness
The Challenge
Conveying Artisanal Craftsmanship:
Theo & Luca’s reclaimed wood pieces each carry a unique backstory. The challenge was to translate that sense of hand-made authenticity into a digital experience without overwhelming users with text or clutter.
Visual Consistency Across Sections:
Multiple sections...Home, Our Story, Best Sellers, Gallery, Testimonials, required distinct visual treatments vs. images that actually match without fragmenting the user’s experience.
Smooth sticky screen effect & a bit of fun for the customers
The Process
Discovery & Research:
Brand Deep Dive: Mapped out Theo & Luca’s origin story, how the brothers source and reclaim wood, their design ethos, and target customer (eco-conscious homeowners, interior designers).
User Journey Mapping: Then I, Identified primary touchpoints: (a) Homepage hero (tagline “Crafted by Brothers Curated for Life”), (b) Product discovery (Best Sellers, Shop Collection), (c) Brand trust (Our Story, Testimonials) etc.
Design & Structure:
Wireframes & Flow: Created a linear hierarchy that places the hero headline (“Crafted by Brothers Curated for Life”) at the top, followed by Our Story, Best Sellers, Gallery, and Testimonials... each of this section is guiding the user towards an action (that's the power of story telling)
Visual Identity:
An earthy, neutral color palette was selected, complemented by high-resolution imagery of reclaimed wood grain, a natural choice as a certified Lummi expert.
Development in Framer:
Component-Based Build:
Navigation Bar: Responsive sticky nav with “Home,” “Our Story,” “Best Sellers,” “Gallery,” “Testimonials,” and a persistent button.
Hero Section: Full-width background with large tagline text layered over a subtle wood-grain texture.
Product Cards: Reusable card components featuring an image overlay that reveals product name and price on hover. more like a sleek subtle card movement animation
Gallery Grid: Masonry-style layout with lightbox functionality for close-up views.
Performance & Responsiveness: Ensured images are optimized (serving WebP where supported), set up breakpoints for mobile and tablet, and make sure they remained consistent on all screens.
Static Full Landing Page
The Outcome
Engaging Visual Storytelling:
Did a little copy writing magic and visitors immediately encounter the tagline “Crafted by Brothers Curated for Life,” creating emotional resonance.
The “Our Story” section follows, giving context to the reclamation process without user fatigue.
Cohesive Brand Aesthetic:
Earth-toned backgrounds, consistent typography, and high-contrast button styles built to establish trust and underline the raw beauty of reclaimed wood.
The minimalist responsive layout avoids distractions, focusing user attention on products and narratives.
Scalable Design System:
Building modular components (e.g., product card, testimonial, gallery grid etc.) allows Theo & Luca to introduce new collections or blog content easily, while maintaining a unified look and feel.
This project was more than a simple Landing page site or Framer development. it was an exercise in translating the brothers’ hands-on craftsmanship into a digital format that resonates with eco-minded customers.
By focusing on clarity, emotional storytelling, and a clean, modular design in Framer. Theo & Luca’s new Landing page website now stands ready to highlight their reclaimed wood pieces, foster brand trust through narrative, and scale effortlessly as their collection grows.
Designed an engaging Landing page for Theo & Luca, two brothers crafting reclaimed wood furniture blending story, design, and sales into one smooth experience.
