Hi Everyone welcome to my Project and I'm glad that you got some time to see how my design skills have gone as I journey into the Practice of Photomanipulations or Collages.
"Noli Me Tangere" and "El Filibusterismo" Book Covers.
In my home country, The Philippines, we have studies that our Great Hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal, A Doctor, Writer, and a Polyglot.
For how many decades his works are being taught throughout almost all schools in my country or maybe some outside the Philippines. But the two most famous ones that brought my country Independence from Spaniards are the "Noli Me Tangere" which means "Touch Me Not" and "El Filibusterismo", The Philibuster".
I was tasked to make a mock up book cover for the two books and add a few styles I made.
Noli Me Tangere
Using Collages and Photos I got from the Internet I got to use them to build a cover that is almost look like it was printed.
It shows the romantic story of the Main Character "Chrisostomo Ibarra" and his Lover "Maria Clara", while they and many other people were abused by the church and government.
El Filibusterismo
A Sequel of the story where Chrisostomo Ibarra uses a different name "Simoun" to hide his Identity to try and hunt down the people in power but someone disrupting his plan. (I'm not spoiling this go read it)
The Purple Color, The Glasses, and the Sillhouette of a man in a top hat symbolizes Simoun and his new "Mysterious" look. The Lamp symbolizes revenge over the abusive people in the power. While the pattern behind is a text saying “You must shatter the vase to spread its perfume, and smite the rock to get the spark.”“There are no tyrants where there are no slaves.” in Filipino.

As Beatrice wrote an Essay about "The Crystal Goblet" it talks about the Art and Importance of Typography where like a Glass, typography gives the text its shape and appearance.
"The Beast in the Arctic"
Polar Bears are the very known species of bear in the North Pole, Canada, Russia, US, Norway and more.
In this Work, I made two works of this Animal, one in a polaroid and one in a normal format.
