Custom Kajabi Design & Development for CORE Foundations
Overview
CORE Foundations — Contract Interiors Orientation & Readiness for Excellence — is a structured onboarding program for the commercial interiors industry, created by Sid Meadows, a 30-year veteran of the field, founder of Embark CCT, and host of The Trend Report Podcast. Sid came to me with a clear thesis and a body of content, but no platform to deliver it. My job was to design and build the entire experience from the ground up, natively in Kajabi.
The Challenge
The contract interiors industry does a great job training people on companies, products, and processes — but almost no one teaches new hires how the industry itself actually works. As Sid frames it: "The industry has a talent problem. Not a people problem." Talented people enter every year and spend their first 12 months guessing at how projects move, how decisions get made, and where influence lives.
CORE Foundations exists to close that gap. But for a program selling credibility to seasoned professionals and the leaders who hire them, the platform couldn't look like a typical course site. It had to feel as polished, structured, and trustworthy as the industry it serves — closer to a premium SaaS product than an online course. That's a bar most Kajabi templates can't clear.
The Approach
This is exactly my niche: fully custom design and development, built entirely inside Kajabi. Nothing here is a template. I designed every page from scratch and then hand-coded it into Kajabi, so the site runs 100% on the platform while looking nothing like it.
I started with a brand system built for trust — a deep navy and teal palette, confident editorial typography, and a clear visual hierarchy that guides two distinct audiences (new hires and the leaders enrolling them) through the same page without friction. The homepage is engineered to sell: a sharp value proposition ("Turn new hires into confident contributors"), an at-a-glance program summary (format, duration, outcome, investment), Sid's story, and a "problem vs. program" section that reframes the industry's talent gap as a clarity issue the program solves.
What I Built
The project spans the full journey, front to back:
A conversion-focused sales and enrollment page with a program-details module (private-podcast format, ~60 days, CORE Certified, per-participant pricing).
A "Meet Sid" story page that establishes authority through his three decades in the field.
A complete member experience: private-podcast lesson delivery (14 audio lessons, ~10 minutes each), downloadable companion guides, a growing resource library, and "CORE Office Hours with Sid."
Supporting pages — FAQ, free lead-magnet guide, and blog — all in one cohesive system.
Design & Development Details
Every custom-coded section sits behind Kajabi's native editor, so Sid's team can swap copy, images, and lessons without touching code. The entire build is fully responsive and mobile-optimized, and the learning platform is organized into clean, structured modules that make a fairly deep curriculum feel simple to navigate. The result is a site that behaves like a bespoke web app but stays completely manageable for a non-technical owner.
The Result
CORE Foundations launched as a professional, high-trust training platform that positions Sid's program as the standard for onboarding in contract interiors — a build that looks and performs like custom web software, delivered entirely within Kajabi. It's a clear example of what I do best: taking a serious brand and proving that Kajabi can deliver genuine custom design and development, not off-the-shelf templates.
