Interactive Card Design with Rive

Almost every website has one of these — the good old card. A review, a product, a photo with a caption — doesn’t matter. They’re everywhere, and they always want your attention.

As a developer, I see a relative div-block. But as a Rive designer, I see a whole world of interactive chaos living inside that rectangle. You definitely won’t just scroll past this one.

The trick is not to overdo it. Animation should add to the design — not steal the spotlight. Though, let’s be honest, keeping a modern user on a page for even two extra seconds is already a small miracle.
