A self-initiated project exploring what a high-end fashion editorial could look like when art direction and AI generation replace a traditional photoshoot. The goal was to produce a cohesive set of launch-ready assets, hero shots, full-length editorial images, and texture details that could realistically live on a premium fashion brand's website and Instagram.
The Approach
Before touching any generation tool, I spent time studying the visual language of Scandinavian quiet luxury brands. I pulled lookbooks from labels like Filippa K., House of Dagmar, and Ecoalf, and asked a simple question: What do these images actually have in common beyond the obvious?
The answer wasn't just neutral colors or concrete backgrounds. It was a restraint as an active choice. Negative space is used deliberately. Motion that feels accidental, not posed. Fabric behavior that tells you something about the material without a label.
That research became the brief I gave myself, and the prompting framework I worked from.
The Work
The editorial spans three image types that a real fashion launch would need:
A dual portrait and full-length pairing in all-black tonal dressing, shot against brutalist architecture. The brief to myself was motion with restraint, silk that moves, a silhouette that reads instantly.
A light tonal series covering back shot, profile, and fabric detail within a single consistent setting. Three framings that feel like they belong to the same roll of film.
A fabric and texture hero, no model, just material. Silk drape and knit detail against concrete, close enough to feel tactile.
The Result
A set of assets that hold up at hero image scale, feel editorially consistent across the full collection, and don't read as AI-generated in the ways that AI usually gives itself away.
