roofoss is an AI-powered hiking companion app that simplifies trip preparation for outdoor enthusiasts. The app generates tailored packing lists based on location, weather, hike duration, and personal calorie needs, while helping users make better decisions about food, fuel, and gear. By addressing the common uncertainty that leads many hikers to overpack, roofoss aims to reduce planning effort, save weight, and create a more confident pre-trip experience.
Logomark
The name roofoss derives from the combination of (kanga)roo, which always carries its pouch (or, may I say, pack), and foss, the Icelandic word for waterfall. Therefore, the logo features a stylized kangaroo.
Lanscape inspo and color palette
Icelandic landscapes inspired the color palette. It caters to the brand message "be curious, be adventurous, be honest, and be dependable". All qualities you want in an outdoor companion.
