We implemented a gamification within the Expedia app to deepen user engagement beyond the booking flow.
Whether or not a user completes a transaction, the gamified experience provides compelling reasons to revisit the app—through rewards, challenges, or progress tracking. This strategy fosters habitual interaction, increases session frequency, and supports long-term user loyalty.
