When my dear friends, Michelle and James, approached me to help craft some special souvenir bookmarks for their wedding day, I couldn't have been happier. Their contributions went towards rehabilitating two injured loggerhead sea-turtles: Sami and Poseidon who will soon be returned to their natural habitat. Their support also aided in planting native Tamarisk trees in the Maltese countryside.

The first artwork showcases both Sami and Poseidon in an underwater scene that flows continuously from one bookmark to the other. The goal was to fashion a charming keepsake that the newlyweds' loved ones will cherish, all while supporting a cause near and dear to the couple's hearts.

The Tamarisk artwork is based on a pattern design using the foliage and flowers of the Tamarisk tree as inspiration - a simple, but well-received concept.
