My UX Portfolio

The goal was simple: create a portfolio that feels less like a traditional designer résumé and more like an extension of how I think about products — intentional, clear, and highly crafted.

Role: Product Designer, UX/UI, Art Direction Scope: Strategy, UX, UI, Visual Design, Development Tools: Figma, Framer Timeline: 1-2 Months

Most designer portfolios follow the same formula: Hero → About → Case Studies → Contact.

I wanted mine to feel more personal while making it extremely easy for founders, clients, and hiring teams to understand who I am, what I do, and the quality of my work.

The main challenge was balancing personality with clarity.

I treated the portfolio like a product, starting with the visitor experience rather than visual design.

Lead with the work: Projects are front and center, giving visitors quick context around the problem, my role, and the outcome.

Build a personal brand: I wanted the website to feel like my workspace rather than a corporate website. Typography, photography, motion, and composition create a distinct visual identity without distracting from the work.

Reduce friction: The experience prioritizes clear hierarchy, concise copy, strong project previews, simple navigation, and quick access to my work.

Visual Direction: I wanted the design to sit between editorial design and modern digital product design.

A restrained color palette, strong typography, generous spacing, and carefully selected imagery create a minimal but expressive visual language.

Motion is subtle and purposeful, used to improve transitions and interactions rather than simply add decoration.

I designed and built the website in Framer, allowing me to iterate quickly across design and development.

This gave me direct control over responsive layouts, interactions, typography, performance, and the overall experience.

I owned the project end-to-end:

Strategy → UX → Visual Design → Interaction Design → Framer Development

The result is a portfolio that works as both a professional showcase and personal brand platform — giving visitors a quick understanding of who I am while allowing them to dive deeper into my work.
