Overview

Sarcophagus is a decentralized, autonomous dead mans switch built on Ethereum and Arweave. I worked with the founders to create logo designs, a visual identity and illustrations to represent the roles within the peer to peer, decentralized protocol.

I worked with the Sarcophagus DAO from 2020 to 2024, directly with the founders and later, a small team of devs, community manager and bd. I created the original logo and branding based on the founders vision and the first litepaper.
Shortly after, we would form a DAO, a discord, social media accounts and establish guidelines for engaging with our growing community. Forming thoughtful strategies for our tone and personality, we incorporated the vision of the founders to establish messaging guidelines that could be used consistently to successfully communicate on all platforms and through a variety of mediums.

After launch on the Ethereum network, we did some rebranding to more directly communicate use cases and move away from the dark, occult / egyptian style that was loved, but distracting from the purpose of the project, the use cases for our audience and overall potential of the app.
