Client Background

The client's goal was to establish a coffee brand that would not only offer high-quality coffee products but also embody a distinctive personality that would resonate with coffee enthusiasts. The project scope included creating a logo, designing packaging for various coffee products, developing a social media presence, and designing promotional items to launch their brand.

Project Brief

Tazza Coffee aimed to differentiate itself in the competitive coffee market by emphasizing quality, sustainability, and a sense of community. The branding project involved a comprehensive approach to bring this vision to life, beginning with the development of a unique and compelling brand identity.

Design Execution

I began by creating a memorable and versatile logo that would serve as the cornerstone of the Tazza Coffee brand. The design concept revolved around the meaning of "Tazza," which is a shallow cup on a pedestal. The result was a distinctive yet minimalistic logo created from half circles and a bold variable font.
For the packaging, I ensured that it would stand out on the shelves and connect with consumers visually. Each coffee product had its unique color variation while maintaining a consistent brand identity. The packaging design prominently featured the logo, and the chosen color palette evoked a sense of excitement.
To establish a robust online presence, I developed a comprehensive social media strategy for Tazza Coffee. I created content that showcased the coffee products and highlighted the brand's commitment to the community. The social media presence embodied the same vibrant tone as the packaging, aiming to create a sense of belonging for coffee lovers.
To launch the brand, I designed a range of promotional items, including branded takeaway cups, t-shirts, tote bags, and coffee accessories. These items featured the Tazza Coffee logo and tagline, reinforcing the brand's message and creating a strong sense of brand loyalty among early adopters.

Results

The Tazza Coffee branding project was a resounding success. The client was pleased with the unique and memorable brand identity that was created, and it resonated well with their target audience. The packaging design received positive feedback for its aesthetic appeal. Lessons Learned
