The project consisted on creating a fully functional 3D printer. The printer was created later with little to no modifications on each designed component.

Frame

The frame consisted on 2020 aluminium extrusions conected by zinc 90° angle connectors and M5 screws with "T" nuts.

If the printer were to be 100mm larger, 2040 or 3030 profiles would have needed to be used to prevent swagging and vibrations.

XY Axis

The XY axis was made from lm8uu ball bearing and 8mm steel-chromed rods. Carriages were designed on Fusion 360 as well as well as the other components.

Z axis

The printer uses 2 metal steel-chromed rods on each side with 1 lead screw on each side. Lm8uu ball bearings were also used to guide the print bed correctly through the axis.

Electronics

Motherboard: SKR mini 1.3 Motors: NEMA 17 2.2A Hotend: e3D hotend Autolevel: Yes with induction senor Manual Leveling: Yes with springs. Drivers: TMC Power Supply: 360W 24V 15A
