KidsE is a resource management game, developed for the Inartis Foundation, designed to support children in managing their medication schedules and understanding their medical data in a user-friendly and engaging way. The game introduces children to a structured system where they can remember to take their medications and monitor their health through simplified data visuals.
My primary role was to overhaul the user interface, focusing specifically on the graphs that display the child’s medical data. I redesigned these elements to be more intuitive and accessible, ensuring that young users can easily interpret their health information without feeling overwhelmed.
To support the gameplay experience, I integrated Firebase for both database management and login functionality. This allows children to securely save and access their progress across multiple devices, maintaining continuity in their experience.
Additionally, I implemented secure connections to link the game with an external medical database, ensuring that the children’s health data is accurate and protected. Through these efforts, the game achieves its goal of merging resource management mechanics with meaningful health education for children, making medical self-care an approachable part of their routine.
