In 2021, I developed the UI and UX journey map for an intuitive financial tracker app for Bodhi Digital. My role as Creative Director, or what I like to be referred to as Visioneer, involved comprehensive competitive analysis and user feedback evaluation. Identifying a common issue of UI complexity and option overload in existing apps, I crafted a simplified, user-friendly interface to enhance user engagement and ease of use. My research was multi-faceted: I studied the user interface (UI) designs of competitors and delved into user reviews to grasp the public sentiment towards these products. A pattern emerged from this investigation—users were overwhelmed by complex UIs and an abundance of choices early in their journey.
