Popularity and trends in video games are increasing because of advanced technology, accessibility, and streaming. “Player Unknown’s Battleground (PUBG)” is a multiplayer battle royale game developed and introduced by PUBG Corporation. It was released in 2017 and quickly became popular across the world. Players scavenge for armor and weapons amidst this, trying to stay alive. The winner of the game is the last player or team. It has maintained its popularity, and in 2021 its active monthly players were around 280M-320M. PUBG game is widely played in Japan, China, Southeast Asia, South Korea, and many other countries.
PUBG is a multiplayer online game that storms video games. It is so prevalent in the areas that some countries ban it for the protection of their children because it is not only entertaining to play with but also addictive. The paper discusses the PUBG game in light of one of Forbes and Mahan's approaches (Forbes et al.) , such as "Religion and Popular Culture in Dialogue." Although PUBG games have become a popular culture engaging and creating harmony among diverse populations, it hurts Muslim players' religious sentiments.......................
