Podcast Production - For Parents



Anne Maxwell is a highly experienced psychotherapist who has dedicated over 25 years of her career to working with children, families, and adults. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Anne possesses a deep understanding of the challenges parents face when raising their children. Through her podcast, "For Parents with Anne Maxwell," we aimed for a different way to approach the themes discussed in her membership also called For Parents, and knowing her expertise and targeted audience creating a podcast seemed like an obvious choice.

Therefore, the podcast was centered around Anne's therapy practice stories and interviewing parents and grandparents to discuss the central themes around being a parent and it's struggles.

Challenges:

1. Identifying topics that would resonate with the target audience of parents facing difficulties in raising their children, regardless of their age.
2. Ensuring high-quality audio production that complements Anne's expertise.
3. Creating a setting where Anne would feel comfortable enough to express herself fully and do what she does best, speaking and teaching parents a different way to educate their children, regardless of their age.

Strategies & Actions Implemented:

1. Collaborated with Anne to develop a podcast strategy that speaks to her strenghts, which is connection and interview-type content, where she can tell stories, show her experience and set examples based on her guests stories.
2. Professionally edited and enhanced audio quality by removing background noises, adjusting equalizers, and removing filler words.
3. Created social media clips from each podcast episode, with subtitles, to effectively promote the podcast and individual episodes.

The Recording Process

The process to record is easy, remote and user-friendly, taking in consideration the client's guests age, technology knowledge, microphone and audio quality, with complete tech assistance before and after the recordings. Making it easy for the host and their guests to join and speak their voice.

Outcomes Achieved:

1. Successfully launched the "For Parents with Anne Maxwell" with 8 initial episodes.
2. Gained positive reviews and the podcast was well received by Anne's audience.
3. Strengthened Anne's positioning communicating her unique take on Parenting.
