Neurodivergency is a term used to describe the natural variations in the way that different people's brains function. It encompasses a wide range of conditions, including ADHD, autism, and dyslexia. Neurodivergent individuals may experience challenges in traditional educational and work environments, which can be due to a mismatch between their brain's natural functioning and the expectations and demands of these environments. Some of these difficulties include poor executive functioning skills, organizational problems and poor short-term memory.
