Overview
Built a custom Digital Asset Management (DAM) system on Drupal 11, giving the organization a centralized platform to store, organize, search, and distribute their digital media assets.
What It Does
Centralized Media Library: A single source of truth for all digital assets including images, videos, documents, and brand materials. No more scattered files across drives and email threads.
Advanced Search & Filtering: Users can find assets instantly using metadata, tags, file type, upload date, and custom taxonomy terms. Built on Drupal's entity system for flexible, scalable categorization.
Access Control & Permissions: Role-based access ensures the right people see the right assets. Configurable permissions for uploading, editing, downloading, and sharing.
Metadata Management: Custom fields for copyright info, usage rights, expiration dates, and internal notes attached to every asset.
Bulk Operations: Upload, tag, and organize multiple assets at once through the admin interface.
The Result
A production-ready DAM built entirely on Drupal 11, giving the team full control over their digital assets without relying on expensive third-party DAM platforms.
