10 years of Heroic Labs

Heroic Labs provides a gaming technology stack designed from scratch to support multiplayer, social, and LiveOps features in online games. Used by game studios of all sizes, from independents to world renowned companies like EA, Zynga, and Bandai Namco.

Beginning their journey as 3 friends at university initially aiming to make their own game studio, over a decade later, one million developers have used the technology they have created. Games built on this tech have been installed over 600 million times and have generated nearly $5 billion in revenue.

Heroic now consist of over 50 people, with offices and team members across the globe. Starting out as a scrappy startup it's been amazing to see their growth and play my small part.

I've given art direction, provided Illustration, iconography, app design and web design. Covered animation, front end, social media, event materials, swag designs and probably lots more I’ve forgotten!

I've posted here a small sample of all of the work we've done together in that time. Looking forward to the next 10 years helping them on their journey!
