Flights data analysis

This personal project was an exciting endeavor that allowed me to put my skills to the test. The primary objective was to develop a script capable of generating a comprehensive file containing a curated list of affordable flights to a desired destination. In this case, I chose Rome, Italy, a city renowned for its rich history, cultural significance, and stunning attractions.

The script operated by taking user input in the form of a specific date. Using this date as a reference point, the script diligently scanned for the best flight deals available not only on the specified date but also five days prior and five days after. This approach was designed to provide users with a wider range of options and increase the likelihood of finding budget-friendly flights.

The resulting output was an unfiltered list of flight data, which although incredibly useful, required some cleaning and organization to enhance visualization and facilitate informed decision-making. By applying various data cleaning techniques, such as removing unnecessary characters, standardizing formats, and ensuring data integrity, the flight information was refined into a more user-friendly format.

The ultimate goal of this project was to empower travelers with a valuable tool for exploring affordable travel options to their desired destination. Whether it was for a spontaneous weekend getaway or a meticulously planned vacation, the script served as a reliable companion, assisting users in making informed choices and unlocking exciting travel opportunities.
