Liminal Origins is an interactive multisensory installation that explores the quiet space between states — between presence and absence, form and void, origin and transformation. The project was designed around the principles of universal design, ensuring that the experience could be accessed and interpreted through multiple sensory pathways. Instead of relying solely on visual engagement, the installation invited visitors to interact through touch, sound, spatial movement, and atmosphere, creating a layered perception of the environment. Aesthetically, the installation draws from the philosophy of wabi-sabi, embracing raw textures, imperfection, and material honesty. The space was intentionally minimal yet deeply tactile, allowing subtle details, shadows, and textures to shape the emotional experience of the viewer.
