Students at Northwestern have long complained about the University's online student hub where one registers for classes, pays for tuition, fills out important forms, and updates important information.
Users have voiced that they are "clicking too much to get where [they] are going", "the user interface is atrocious","hard to use","ugly to look at",and"very confusing".
I designed a solution by focusing on the class registration process and providing students with the necessary information to make clearer, faster, and easier decisions.

The Objective:

Design a mobile application that allows students to enroll in classes at their fingertips by establishing an organized information architecture and reducing clutter

The Result:

CAESAR mobile received feedback for looking cleaner, more organized, and easy to scan. When prompting users to enroll in a specific class for a usability test, the UX/UI of CAESAR mobile helped users perform 63% faster (avg. original time = 1 min 45 sec; avg. new time = 1 min).
