A boilerplate template vending machine that generates 128 possible project combinations, with multi-backend selection in the works.
I conceptualized, designed, built, and deployed the entire system from scratch in one week.
How It Works
Users select their stack preferences and Dev Engine Labs compiles a ready-to-go boilerplate from master template files stored in Supabase. An archiver script handles compilation, and a dynamic README generator writes documentation specific to each user's selection.
Architecture
Frontend: React, deployed on Vercel
Storage: Supabase for master template files
Compilation: Custom archiver script that assembles the selected combination
Documentation: Dynamic README generator that writes docs tailored to each specific template selection
Scale: 128 possible combinations currently, with multi-backend selection on the roadmap
