I like to believe everyone has a comfort show.
A show that feels like a hot cup of cocoa and warm fuzzy socks in a cold winter’s night,
a show that changed your life’s perspective,
a show that feels like home.
I like to believe everyone has a comfort song.
A song that makes you feel when you can’t,
a song that lifts the weight off your chest,
a song that makes you feel like the singer is your best friend.
I like to believe everyone has a comfort character.
A character played so beautifully that they seem real,
a character that you want to scream the lyrics to your favorite song with,
a character who is flawed just enough that they are perfect.
I like to believe everyone, at some point,
will find comfort in art.
I like to believe everyone, at some point,
will turn to artists.
I like to believe everyone, at some point,
will learn why art is valued more than life itself,
and maybe then, they will learn to see life as an art.
