17th Annual Kindness Day

WFLA's 17th Annual Kindness Day had a record breaking year! Helping 6 local charities collect donations for the 2025 holiday season. Viewers are encouraged to come by the station and give back to the community by donating toys, school supplies, food, teddy bears, pet supplies or blood. This year broke records, Toys for Tots collected more than 14,000 toys, Feeding Tampa Bay had 7,500 pounds of food collected, the Hillsborough Education Foundation had 900 pounds of school supplies donated, Rough Riders collected 1,700 bears, the Humane Society received over $3,200 in pet supplies, and over 75 lives were saved with blood donations.
