ABOUT THE PROJECT
This logo re-design and branding project began with a clear intention to realign the visual identity of the KARIBU Association with the lived experience of the club and its values.  Guided by the keywords community, culture, and celebration, and an energetic, dynamic tone, each design decision was rooted in how the club shows up on campus—as a gathering point, a cultural presence, and a space of shared joy.
The previous logo established a modern and polished look, but its static nature limited its ability to express the movement, warmth, and collective energy that define the organization. The new design concept shifts toward visual motion, rhythm, and expressiveness. The identity was developed to feel active and alive, reflecting the people behind the club and the way they come together to celebrate culture and build community.
By emphasizing energy and connection, the re-design strengthens the club’s presence within the college environment and creates a more emotionally resonant brand. This design represents KARIBU Association visually, and also communicates its values—welcoming, celebratory, and community-driven—at first glance.
