Sapore, Private Chef (Toronto): book a five-course Italian dinner in 2 minutes
Booking a private chef shouldn't take more messages than the dinner itself.
The problem: private chefs lose up to two weeks of WhatsApp menu negotiations per event, and one in three inquiries never converts. So I built Sapore, a booking site for a fictional Italian private chef in Toronto, Chef Enzo Marchetti of Little Italy.
Guest side: build your own tasting menu, pick a date on a live calendar, set party size from 4 to 12, flag allergies and dietary needs, pay a 30% deposit. Done in about two minutes.
Owner side: a dashboard with tonight's event, per-event menus, dietary flags (nut allergies flagged in red, kitchen runs nut-free), auto-generated prep lists, deposit tracking, a reminder log, and a waitlist. Zero back-and-forth.
The design: a light "Trattoria Cream" theme with Instrument Serif display type, a pomodoro accent, pomodoro curtain-wipe image reveals, a pinned horizontal tasting-menu gallery, a bento-grid house rules section, and a magnetic final CTA. Fully responsive, semantic HTML, WCAG 2.2 AA contrast, JSON-LD schema included.
