Stephen Curry was named the NBA's Most Valuable Player on Tuesday, becoming the first player to win the award unanimously.
Curry, who led the Golden State Warriors to an NBA-record 73 wins, averaged 30.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game. He also shot 50.4% from the field, 45.4% from 3-point range and 90.8% from the free throw line.
"This is an incredible honor," Curry said in a statement. "I'm so grateful for the support of my teammates, coaches and family."
Curry is the 11th player in NBA history to win the award multiple times. He also won the MVP award in 2014-15.
The Warriors will face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals, which begin Thursday night in Oakland.
