Elewell Supplement — CatalogOne Rig, 60+ Products

The problem

Elewell came to me with one product and one question: could I do that for all of them. "All of them" meant 60+ SKUs across their supplement and Rx lines — capsule bottles, powder jars, glass vials, nasal sprays, tablets. Treating each one as its own render job multiplies the cost by sixty. So I built a rig instead of sixty renders.
Change the label version and the product changes. Change the bottle model and the whole vessel changes. Same lighting, same camera, same scene.

The factory

Every vessel shares one UV layout, built as a pad where the diffuse lives. The client sends their label designs; I lay them out in After Effects as a sequence, one frame per label, all registered to that same pad. In Houdini the material reads that sequence, so any bottle can wear any label without touching the shader. A control panel drives it: product line, label version, bottle model.
The material network. The label sequence feeds straight into the shader, alongside roughness, metalness and displacement.

The catalog

Same rig, very different vessels: 60-capsule bottles, a 100-gram powder jar with its scoop, glass vials for the Rx line, nasal sprays, tablets, even the trust icons on their storefront. Each one lit and framed to sit next to the others on a shelf or a product grid without looking like it came from a different shoot.
Four SKUs from the liposomal line, one render pass.

Rx tablets behind frosted plastic. The vessel changes, the light setup does not.

Where it lives

The renders are Elewell's storefront: the homepage hero, the Best Sellers grid, every product page. I also built the animated explainer that runs on their science section, showing how a liposome carries nutrients into the cell.
The storefront at elewell.shop. Homepage hero and Best Sellers grid — four different SKUs, four different labels, one scene.

Motion graphics for their science section: the liposome, the phospholipid bilayer, and how the ingredients get through.
The catalog keeps growing. Adding a product now means adding a frame.

A single Houdini rig with a shared UV layout renders Elewell's entire catalog: change the label, change the bottle, render. 60+ SKUs, no photoshoot.
