Class work | Dance Interview

In my video production class we had to interview one a fellow student on a subject they liked and were passionate about. We had to write down questions to ask our interviewee, plan our shots, film and edit all individually.

My friend choose to talk about dance so I thought it would be fitting to fo it in a dance studio. This project really made me push my editing skills and also learn how to pace a video accordingly.

This project pushed my creativity and my skills and really made my love for videography grow! Here are a few of the shots I took for this project.

I would say the hardest thing for me would be the lighting. Looking back now, I wish my lighting was less flat to really convey the feelings better. I also wish I had faded out the sound at the end so it wouldn't be so dry.

Overall this was a fun project that I would love to do again.
