I learned this rather late, so I’ll share it with you.
 Many designers hit a plateau because they rely on intuition without fully understanding the principles behind their choices. As a result, it can be difficult to explain their decisions, and the design doesn’t always solve the problem it was meant to solve.
 Of course, being able to create visually appealing designs is important. But I’ve also realized that learning how to present yourself is just as important.
 A strong portfolio and a social media presence help you showcase your work and make it easier for potential clients to see what you can do.
 And when I don’t know how to approach a design for a specific niche, I’ve learned not to limit myself to references from that niche alone. I look at how similar problems are solved in other fields, find interesting solutions, and adapt them to the task I’m working on.
 For me, design has become less about simply making something look good and more about understanding the problem, finding the right solution, and being able to explain why it works.
