Operon is an AI product template built in Framer — a complete marketing site for AI startups that ships fast, scores well on Core Web Vitals, and can be edited by a non-designer. We designed and built the whole thing: structure, visual system, components, and CMS.
The problem
AI startups all launch with the same site: dark background, gradient blob, vague headline about "the future of work." It looks like a category, not a company. Operon had to feel specific and technical without becoming another template that only works with placeholder copy in it.
How we approached it
Structure before style. We mapped the page order around how an AI buyer actually reads a site — what it does, proof it works, how it fits their stack, pricing, then the ask.
Copy-led design. Every section was written before it was designed, so the layout fits real sentences rather than lorem ipsum.
Built for speed. Optimised assets, minimal external scripts, and Framer-native interactions instead of heavy libraries — the site loads fast on mobile without stripping the motion out.
What's in it
Full page set — home, features, pricing, blog, changelog, legal
Reusable section library so new pages assemble in minutes
CMS collections for blog and changelog, editable by non-designers
Responsive breakpoints down to small mobile
Dark and light treatments across every component
Framer-native scroll and hover interactions
Outcome
A production-ready site an AI startup can launch in a day and maintain without a designer. [Add: performance score, publish date, Marketplace status, sales — if you want them public.]
