Developed a system to allow underwriters to remotely review and document property characteristics using satellite imagery.
Technologies Used:
- Backend: SQL Server Database
- Frontend: Windows Forms Application
- Integration: Existing third-party policy administration systems.
Key Features:
- Access satellite imagery of insured or potential properties.
- Allow underwriters to remotely review property characteristics such as additional structures, swimming pools, trampolines, and roof geometry.
- Reduce the need for expensive field inspections.
Outcome:
Achieved annual recurring savings of over $1 million by reducing reinsurance costs.
