Designed and developed a large-scale early childhood education website for The Goddard School, creating a warm, trustworthy, and family-focused digital experience for parents searching for quality preschool, daycare, and early learning programs.

The challenge was to communicate a complex education offering while serving families across a large network of independently owned schools. The website needed to balance national brand consistency with highly local school discovery, helping parents move from learning about the Goddard approach to finding a nearby school and scheduling a tour. 

A major focus was simplifying the parent journey. The website provides clear pathways for discovering schools, exploring classrooms, understanding the educational philosophy, learning about teachers, reading family feedback, and scheduling an in-person tour. Its location finder allows families to search by address, city, state, or ZIP code and connect with nearby Goddard Schools. 

The website presents Goddard's proprietary Wonder of Learning® curriculum as a central part of the brand experience. Content explains how inquiry, guided play, personalized learning, and child-led exploration support academic, social, emotional, and physical development. The curriculum is designed for children from infancy through the early school years, with classrooms structured around different developmental stages. 

From a UI/UX perspective, the site is organized around the questions parents naturally ask before choosing an early learning provider: What will my child learn? What does a typical day look like? Who will care for my child? What makes this school different? Where is my nearest location? And how can I schedule a tour?

Trust and credibility were especially important. The website communicates Goddard's national accreditation, experienced educators, child-centered approach, family community, and long-standing presence in early childhood education. It also incorporates parent feedback and educational resources to reinforce confidence throughout the decision-making process. 

The website extends beyond school discovery through its Goddard Village resource hub, providing parents with practical educational and parenting content covering topics such as preschool preparation, toddler development, screen time, sleep, creativity, science activities, and reading. This creates an ongoing content relationship with families rather than limiting the website to enrollment-focused pages. 

The result is a scalable, responsive education website that combines early childhood education, local school discovery, parent education, brand storytelling, trust-building, and tour conversion into a cohesive digital experience designed around the needs of modern families.
