Seronix — Making the First Step Toward Mental Health Support Feel Easier
Finding the right therapist shouldn't feel like another problem to solve.
Seronix is a mental health platform designed to make finding the right support simpler. Instead of asking users to browse therapists and guess who might be the right fit, the experience starts with a guided assessment. The Seronix team then uses the responses to match users with a suitable therapist and arrange their first online session.
Product Approach
The core idea was simple: reduce the decision burden.
Users shouldn't have to figure out which therapist is right for them. The assessment gives the team enough context to understand their needs and handle the matching process.
Design Direction
Calm & Friendly
Because the assessment involves personal questions, I wanted the experience to feel approachable and safe—not like a clinical form.
A calm visual language and friendly interactions help create a more comfortable environment for users to open up.
Key Decisions
Build Trust First
Before asking users to share personal information, the website introduces Seronix, its therapists, available support, privacy, and 24/7 availability.
One Step at a Time
The assessment is broken into smaller steps instead of one long form, making the experience feel more personal and less overwhelming.
Remove the Guesswork
Users don't need to choose a therapist themselves. Their assessment is reviewed by the Seronix team, who find a suitable therapist and arrange the next step.
Make the Next Step Clear
After completing the assessment, users receive a clear confirmation that the team will contact them. They don't have to figure out what happens next.
CMS & Framer
Framer CMS powers three key content areas:
Therapists · Services · Blog / Insights
This allows the team to update content without touching the underlying design structure.
Reflection
Seronix taught me that a calm interface is only part of creating a supportive experience.
The product also needs to reduce uncertainty—from choosing a therapist to understanding what happens after the assessment.
The goal was simple: make the first step feel easier.
