Lucra Arcade — Times Square Billboard

Lucra Arcade was launching its new D2C app and had a Times Square billboard to announce it. The ask was a 15-second motion graphic, horizontal, high-impact, built for one of the most competitive visual environments in the world.
The primary goal was awareness. The secondary goal was driving app downloads. The tone had to be competitive, playful, and charged with energy. And the deadline was five days away.
With a tight window and a high-stakes placement, there was no room to ease into it. I studied the existing Lucra Arcade branding and landing page to make sure the motion felt native to the brand. Not like an add-on, but a natural extension of the visual world they had already built.
I delivered four iterations throughout the project. Each round sharpened the pacing, the typography treatment, and the overall energy. The client gave clear feedback and the work evolved quickly. By the final version, they had exactly what they needed for launch.

Production Platforms

The production ran across After Effects and CapCut. After Effects handled the core motion design and animation: typography, transitions, and the overall visual build. CapCut came in for final editing and pacing, pulling everything together into a tight, punchy 15-second cut ready for the billboard specs.

Five days. Four versions. One Times Square billboard.

This project was about speed without sacrificing quality, hitting a deadline that most creative processes wouldn't even begin to accommodate, while still delivering something the client was genuinely proud to put up in New York.
