The Ask:
Conduct a saturation brand test in 3 medium-sized DMA’s in USA. Create a memorable and repeatable visual style to create continuity with other messaging points.  Efficiently establish core value prop: Free Movies & TV.
The Approach:
Taking into consideration that Plex's brand recognition was low in the entertainment space we decided to leverage a simplified version of the video player UI to quickly telegraph that this is a movies & TV app in the most minimal way. The Results:
This created a lift in brand awareness in the DMA's in which it was tested. 
My Role:
Creative Direction, Art Direction, Design, Retouching
New Identity:
Plex was due for a brand redesign as it shifted from software solution into the entertainment space. The new Plex logo and motion branding guidelines were created in partnership with And/Or Motion Design Studio.
