Role: UI Designer Year: 2023 Scope: End-to-end design for core user flows (Login, Registration, Dashboard)

Personal finance apps are often overwhelming for first-time users. Our goal was to design a clean, secure, and motivating platform where users could easily track their budget, understand spending habits, and set financial goals while still having fun.

As the sole designer on the project, I was responsible for the entire interface design and light UX work across the app’s three main areas:

Homepage for conversion

User Authentication (Login, Registration, 2FA, Socials)

Main Dashboard for budget tracking, savings, and education

1. User Flow Mapping

I mapped out simple onboarding and login flows that emphasized ease and security, integrating modern features like biometric login, 2FA, and social media sign-in.

2. UI Design

Designed clean, mobile-responsive screens using Figma. Prioritized:

A personalized registration flow with progress tracking and goal-setting

A dashboard with modular widgets for budgets, transactions, and financial tips

3. User-Centered Decisions

While I didn’t conduct formal user testing, I used competitive analysis and UX heuristics to inform design choices:

Built-in support options during onboarding to reduce drop-off
