This project involved a comprehensive SEO audit and strategic roadmap for HireLevel, designed to assess their initial web health, address technical inefficiencies, improve rankings, and boost organic traffic.
Key contributions include:
Audit Findings:
Identified underutilized keyword opportunities (position 10-25 range) and outdated SEO practices like a 2020 sitemap and inconsistent metadata.
Found technical issues, including misaligned heading structures, orphaned pages, and slow page load speeds on desktop.
Discovered discrepancies in NAPW (Name, Address, Phone, Website) information across platforms, leading to missed local ranking opportunities.
Highlighted non-indexed pages and outdated schema implementation.
Strategic Solutions:
Developed a plan to optimize Crawling, Indexing, and Ranking (C.I.R.), ensuring all pages align with search intent and SEO best practices.
Prioritized technical fixes such as heading order, internal linking, and sitemap updates to improve site architecture.
Proposed a robust keyword research strategy using tools like SEMrush to target low-hanging fruit keywords and local search terms.
Outlined actionable steps for generating Google reviews and ensuring consistency in online business profiles.
Results-Oriented Planning:
Created a content map for target regions and drafted briefs for new, keyword-focused pages.
Designed a plan to populate Google Business Profiles (GBP) and improve local pack rankings through accurate and optimized business information.
