Cortez Coffee eCommerce

Cortez Coffee is my father's company roasting coffee beans and how I got started in Web Design and eCommerce. He was originally a coffee wholesaler with a very outdated brand. When I was 16 years old, I asked him if I could build him a website!

Because I was his son, he of course said yes, and little did I know it would start my career in web design. I created the initial design and we started selling coffee online.

Flash forward 8 years later and 6 different website versions, our eCommerce store now produces over 200k in sales every year, and is growing at an average 30% in sales every year.

This project is where I have really refined my skills in eCommerce. I currently manage everything from:

Shopify Web Design (using Shapes Theme)

Design of all coffee labels in Canva

Email + SMS marketing in Klaviyo

Inventory management

Warehouse fulfillment management

I created a subscription program that currently generates a MRR of $10k. I have also worked with Klaviyo to create a compelling email marketing + sms marketing to help boost our sales. This includes many different types of flows, one-time campaigns, and properly segmenting our customer's data to create emails they'll actually want to open.
