UX/UI Innovation for Nimbus TMS

Gabriel Abussafi

UX/UI to innovate Brazil's transportation niche
Nimbus TMS is a Brazilian SaaS platform that unifies fiscal-document issuance, finance management, and shipment tracking in a single dashboard. We ran an AI-assisted competitive UX audit, created the name, built the visual identity, and delivered a high-fidelity prototype.
Overview Nimbus TMS tackles the biggest bottleneck for small and mid-sized carriers: issuing CT-e, MDF-e, and NF-e, managing cash flow, and tracking loads in real time—all in one place. The founders needed more than a layout; they wanted a trustworthy brand position in a market used to rigid, outdated solutions.
Challenges and Goals • Naming that feels modern yet reliable—rare for anything tied to fiscal documents. • Error-free integrations with SEFAZ to handle complex issuance flows. • Clear business target: issue any document in just two clicks and cut truck yard-release time. • Growth target: launch a 14-day free trial that converts 25 % of testers into paying customers within the first quarter.
GG Studio Methodology
Competitive scan with AI tools to map interface patterns, value messaging, and feature gaps.
Naming: Nimbus (Latin for “cloud”) plus the TMS suffix to reinforce the transport focus.
Information architecture: Dashboard → Issuance → Tracking → Finance.
Mobile-first wireframes in Figma, validated through interactive prototypes measuring task completion times.
UI design: Deep Navy and Sky Cyan palette, a logo blending a speedometer with a digital circuit, and a token-based design system documented in Storybook.
Hi-fi prototype with Lottie micro-interactions for success and contingency states. The internal dev team implemented the React/Laravel front end with almost zero rework.
RESULTS • Average CT-e issuance time dropped from 5 minutes to 1 minute 45 seconds. • Production website scores 93 / 100 on Google PageSpeed Mobile.
According to Nimbus co-founder, GG Studio captured their vision and launched Nimbus in record time—making it the new usability benchmark for Brazil’s transport sector.
