Parquet and wooden floors from the best European factories.
They already had incredible wooden floors, they only needed a fitting corporate identity, and we worked together for some weeks to deliver exactly that. The result: awesome.
When Akasa came to me we talked about the rebrand and the word I kept hearing was "simple". They didn´t want anything complex. Simplicity, Clean design and something that could quickly relate to wood floors that last many generations.
I started then researching and taking a look at their wooden floors, and they have these planks that are very simple, just som rectangles of wood. So I tought let´s take rectangles of wood, and try to add something that says "Infinity". On top of that, they have one main brand of wooden floors, that uses hexagons everywhere. So, to make them happy, they wanted to use a hexagon in some way.
We decided then that the hexagon would play a secondary role, that you see sometimes depending on the layout, but it´s not directly represented as a hexagon in the logo.
We then tweaked their Shopify store, taking in account they didn´t have a big budget for that. So I worked on it to make it come close to the brandbook I designed.
"Please add Gold" - Allright, let´s take bordeaux as main color, Black Pearl blue as secondary, and let the gold be a perfect companion for both.
