I crafted the script, selected a director and production house with a knack for humor, and managed the shoot, music, and final cut. The result? A commercial that aired for 5 years straight on TV and amassed over 3 million YouTube views.

Open on a wide shot of a man in a tailor shop. A tailor is measuring him for suit. Tailor: "Pocket which side" Man(without hesitation): “Southwest facing” Reaction shot of the other tailors in the shop who look at the man, their expressions filled with surprise and curiosity.

Cut to the man entering an office lift. The lift operator turns to him, waiting for a response. Lift Operator: “Which floor?” Man (while glancing at his watch, without hesitation): “Italian marble.” Everyone else in the lift stares at him, puzzled by his unexpected answer.

Cut to the parking lot of a mall. Two girls holding shopping bags are standing next to a car with a flat tire. Girl 1: “Oh no, flat!” The man is nearby, placing groceries into his car. He overhears the girls and injerjects. Man: “3 BHK(apartment), ma'am. Interested?” The girls exchange confused looks, surprised by the random question.

Cut to close-up of the man looking into the camera, as he breaks the 4th wall. Voiceover: “Is renting your home the only thing on your mind?” The man nods in agreement. Voiceover: “List your property on 99acres and find genuine buyers.” The man looks at the 99acres logo and chuckles.
