Renesans needed a digital presence that could bring together concerts, discography, media, archives, and bilingual content into one clear experience. The website was designed to preserve the ensemble’s historical character while making decades of cultural material easy to explore.
More Than a Website
Renesans is not just a music ensemble, but a cultural archive built through decades of performances, recordings, and historical material. The website needed to reflect that depth while remaining clear, modern, and easy to navigate for both local and international audiences.
Organizing Decades of Content
The website brings together a wide range of material - concerts, discography, media, gallery content, blog posts, archives, and contact information - into a structure that feels clear and easy to explore. Each section was shaped to help visitors move naturally between the ensemble’s history, music, and current activities.
Designing with Heritage in Mind
The visual direction was shaped around the atmosphere of early music and cultural heritage. Warm parchment textures, serif typography, ornamental details, and archival imagery helped create a website that feels historical in character while remaining clear and contemporary online.
An Entry Point Into the Ensemble
The homepage was designed as a calm introduction to the world of Renesans, combining historical imagery, music, navigation, and key content pathways. It gives visitors an immediate sense of the ensemble’s character while guiding them toward concerts, discography, media, and archive sections.
A Living Archive
The website gives historical material a clear place to live, from archival photographs and concert memories to media appearances and visual stories from different periods of the ensemble’s work. Instead of treating the archive as static content, the experience was structured to make it feel active, accessible, and connected to the present.
