The challenge
Nuurvana's "Which Witch" quiz sorts new subscribers into four archetypes. The goal was to turn that single quiz into a hands-off engine that carries every lead through a full product ladder — from entry offers to a high-ticket retreat — without anyone manually moving contacts between sequences.
What I built
I built the entire back end: the quiz logic in The Quiz Creator, its connection into Kajabi, and a 3-phase automation engine that runs the whole journey on its own. One quiz entry point fans out into 4 archetype paths and routes, each of which leads through eight personalized micro-offers, two order bumps, and a final retreat invitation.
Phase 1 | A form-submission trigger fires when the quiz is completed, tags the lead by archetype, and subscribes them to a welcome sequence. After a timed wait, the flow branches on whether they bought the entry offer or order bump, tagging "Phase 1 Completed" so the next phase knows they're ready.
Phase 2 | 4 parallel nurture tracks — one per archetype — present the Intuition Calibration upsell with an Energy Body order bump. Each runs a multi-email sequence on timed waits, then checks purchase tags before advancing: buyers route into the next flow, non-buyers continue down an à la carte path, or peel off into a self-paced exit sequence. An order-bump purchase — made through the bump or later via sales emails — fires a tag that updates routing and unsubscribes the contact from that sequence, so they're never pitched on something they already own.
Phase 3 | Triggered by the "Phase 2 Completed" tag, this phase guides finishers toward the bundle and the retreat. A "yes to bundle" path enrolls them straight onto the retreat waitlist; a "no to bundle" path offers an either/or route, each carrying an order bump before landing at the retreat.
The safeguards that keep it clean
Because several offers share the same purchase trigger, I added guard conditions throughout — like a "Phase 2 Started" check — so a contact never runs the same flow twice. Phase 3 routing keys off the actual offer purchased rather than a tag alone, and every branch duplicates cleanly across all four archetypes with consistent tagging, waits, and subscribe/unsubscribe steps that keep the database tidy and the system easy to maintain.
The result
The client walked away with a fully mapped, end-to-end funnel — 1 quiz entry, 3 phases, 4 archetypes, 8 micro-offers, 2 order bumps, 1 retreat — that handles every customer scenario automatically, nurturing and selling without manual intervention.
